Summary

Description
English: Low resolution screenshot from the public domain version of the film Intolerance (1916). In the Judean Story of the film, a woman accused of adultery is brought by men holding stones before the Nazarene (Howard Gaye) with the statement, "Now Moses in the law commanded us that such should be stoned; but what sayest thou?" - John VIII. The Nazarene writes in the sand on steps, and says, in this scene, "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her."
