Summary

Description Interior of a 1940 British Rail Class 487 train that worked on the Waterloo & City Line, taken at London's Transport Museum's Acton Depot. The condition is of the train at the time it was replaced with London Underground 1992 Stock in 1992-3.

In my years as train driver I actually driven the old Waterloo and city trains. Took some getting used to the brakes but once used to it I loved to drive the trains..or as we called it the Rat Hole and we called one driver King Rat..( Collin)
