Description
English: I Gesuiti, Venice - Built at the expense of San Marco Vettor Grimani procurator. In the center is the altarpiece, the statue of the founder of the Society of Jesus, Saint Ignatius, who shows the Constitutions of the Society of Jesus. On the wings of the pediment on each side of the great statue Faith and charity. On the front of the altar are bas-reliefs showing from left to right: St. Ignatius donned these garments with a poor man; Ignatius at Manresa; The vision of La Storta.
Français : Église Santa Maria Assunta (Venise) - Érigé au frais du procurateur de San Marco Vettor Grimani. Au centre le retable la statue du fondateur de la Compagnie de Jésus, saint Ignace qui montre les Constitutions de la Compagnie de Jésus. Sur les ailes du fronton de chaque côté de la grande statue La foi et la charité. Sur le face avant de l'autel, des bas-reliefs montrant de gauche à droite: saint Ignace donnat ces vêtements avec un pauvre; Ignace à Manrèse; La vision de La Storta.
