Object history
English: Painting of a full-length portrait commissioned by Lejeune to Jean Urbain Guerin. The latter made a large miniature representing the sponsor in camp aid costume. This miniature was destroyed in the fire of the castle of Mothe-Chandeniers in 1932. There are several replicas of different formats, including that of the National Museum of the Palace of Versailles, due to Stéphane Baron. Another at the Paul Dupuy Museum in Toulouse, and finally the Toulouse School of Fine Arts in the same format as Versailles and that we owe to Constantin Prévost.
