This film is not listed in the IMDb, but the ad states that it was directed by Louis Mercanton and was written by Marcel L'Herbier, which matches the IMDb description of Bouclette (1918), which it describes as a French film but provides no studio company credits. The book The Encyclopedia of Vaudeville (University of Mississippi Press: 2002) by Anthony Slide at page 128 says Gaby Deslys costarred with dance partner Harry Pilcer in Infatuation, which was released in the United States on Dec. 1, 1918, which is also consistent with the IMDb description of Bouclette. As such, Infatuation may be the U.S. title for Bouclette, or vice versa. |
