Description
English: Detail of the Kunyu Wanguo Quantu map, created in 1602 by Italian Jesuit missionary Matteo Ricci. The map was the first in Chinese to show the Americas. This crop shows the portion of the map encompassing Florida, Mexico, and the Yucatán.
