Português: Igreja de Nossa Senhora das Dores
A pedra fundamental da Igreja Nossa Senhora das Dores foi colocada em 1807, quando se deu a construção de uma simples capela. Somente em 1846 a igreja ganhou formato e a obra foi concluída em 1904. O estilo é barroco português, com um pouco de germânico. No interior há sete imagens que foram trazidas de Portugal em 1871, que representam os passos da Paixão de Cristo. A santa padroeira da igreja aparece em duas imagens, uma de 1820, com rosto de porcelana, e outra da segunda metade do século XVII, com espada e adorno da cabeça em prata. Outros destaques são as esculturas de São Francisco Xavier, vindas da Itália, e a do Sagrado Coração de Maria, oriunda da Espanha. As três esculturas da fachada (foto), obras do artista João Vicente Friederichs, representam a Esperança, a Caridade e a Fé. É a igreja mais antiga da cidade e foi tombada pelo Patrimônio Federal em 1938.
