Summary

Description Transformer read-only store (TROS) from an IBM S/360 Model 40. Thin films with a grid of wire traces on them which worked basically like core memory -- holes could be punched through the traces to only allow electricity to flow one direction around each core, thereby representing a 0 or a 1.
