Deutsch: Hissflagge der Stadt Forst (Lausitz), Landkreis Spree-Neiße, Brandenburg

Die Stadtverordnetenversammlung von Forst (Lausitz) hat am 26. November 2010 die Annahme der nachstehend beschriebenen Flagge beschlossen, die der Brandenburgische Innenminister am 13. April 2011 genehmigte.

Flaggenbeschreibung:

„Dreistreifig in den Farben Rot-Gelb-Rot (Rot-Golden-Rot) im Verhältnis 1:4:1 mit dem Stadtwappen im Mittelstreifen.“[1][2][3]

Die Blasonierung des von Uwe Reipert gestalteten und am gleichen Tag genehmigten Stadtwappens, von dem diese Flagge abgeleitet ist, lautet:

„In Rot ein goldener Schild, belegt mit einer linksgekehrten, fünfendigen roten Hirschstange. Auf dem Helm mit Decken aus einer Krone wachsend die Wappenfigur, alles golden.“[1][4][5]
