Summary
| Description |
The north side of TriMet's Hillsboro Transit Center during rush hour, with passengers waiting to board a westbound line 57-TV Highway bus. Another bus is arriving on line 47, and a third bus is laying over on line 48. On the opposite side of the building is the Hillsboro Central MAX (light rail) station, and the entire facility is sometimes (but not commonly) referred to as the Hillsboro Central Transit Center.> The bus in the center is a 2009 New Flyer D40LFR, and the other two buses are 1992 Flxible Metros. At the time of the picture, the D40LFR was TriMet's newest type of bus and the Flxible Metro was a common sight. Subsequently, TriMet's last Flxible Metros were retired in 2015, and the D40LFR is now TriMet's oldest model of bus still in service. |
