Summary

Description Basking in the sun at the Great Eastern station in Harwich Town was E.E. Pilbeam's beautiful ex-Grey Green Bristol LHL6L with Plaxton bodywork, one of the first LH coaches ever made. The livery was grey and red. In the background is RDB889 one of two Lolines which Pilbeam used at the time. PSV Sales had bought a lot of these from either Aldershot and District or North Western , as in this case, and a number found their way into the fleets of local operators. Pilbeam was extremely keen on former Ewer group vehicles.
