Summary

Description
English: These graphs show the observed atmospheric changes for several common man-made halocarbons. The abundance of each gas is shown in parts per trillion (ppt). Multiple samples of each gas are gathered from sites around the world in the NOAA/GML Flask Sampling Network (colored lines).

The gases shown are:
hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs): 22, 141b, and 142b
hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs): 32, 125, 134a, 143a, 152a, 227ea, and 365mfc
The manufacturing of the HCFCs is scheduled to be transitioned to HFCs within most major markets by year 2020.

Locations sampled include:
ALT - Alert, NWT, Canada
BRW - Point Barrow, Alaska
CGO - Cape Grim, Tasmania
KUM - Cape Kumukahi, Hawaii
MLO - Mauna Loa, Hawaii
NWR - Niwot Ridge, Colorado
SMO - American Samoa
THD - Trinidad Head, California
SPO - South Pole, Antarctica
