Summary

Description A British Royal Navy Grumman Martlet IV (Grumman F4F-4B) at Naval Air Station, Anacostia, Washington D.C. (USA), on 21 April 1942, after application of British markings. This aircraft is FN100, the first Martlet IV. In January 1944, the name Martlet was changed to the U.S. Navy's name Wildcat.
