Summary

Description
English: Example of a common tartan pattern used in flannel bedding and clothing. Patterns of this sort are simply the Robert Roy MacGregor tartan with colours changed. This image is more than full-sett (it repeats once both down and to the right, to better given an idea of the cloth), but it can tile both horizontally and vertically. This is a normal, mirorring tartan. In this particular case, the threadcount in slash notation is /G66 B66/ or in bold notation G66 B66. (I used a dark blue in the render.) This tartan is so simple it can also be woven as a non-mirroring asymmetrical repeat, in "..." markup as ...G66 B66... Anyway, this pattern can be produced at any proportional size, from /G2 B2/ to /G200 B200/ or whatever.
