Greece Warning sign

According to §26 of the Greek Copyright Law as last amended in 2003, the "occasional reproduction and communication by the mass media" of images of works of architecture, works of the fine arts, photographs, and works of the applied arts is allowed for works permanently situated in a public place without the consent of the author of the work and without payment of any remuneration.

Copyright warning: A subject in this image is protected by copyright.

This image features an architectural or artistic work, photographed from a public space in Greece. There are no Freedom of Panorama exemptions in Greece, which means that they cannot be photographed freely for anything other than personal purposes.

If a copyrighted architectural or artistic work is contained in this image and it is a substantial reproduction, this photo cannot be licensed under a free license, and will be deleted. Framing this image to focus on the copyrighted work is also a copyright violation.

Before reusing this content, ensure that you have the right to do so. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you do not infringe someone else's copyrights. See our general disclaimer for more information.

Note: The building itself is in the public domain, as the architect, Vitaliano Poselli, died in 1918. The fourth floor was added in 1955 and is still copyrighted. It is impossible to depict the entire building without including the fourth floor, so the appearance of the new addition is de minimis.
