English: This grave of the champion sculler is situated in Waverley Cemetery at Clovelly in NSW. The full inscription reads: -Charles Amos Messenger, Died 21st April 1905, aged 52 years, Peace Perfect Peace, also our dear Mother, Annie Frances, Beloved wife of the above, died 14th November 1944, Aged 90 years.
