Saturday, July 14, 2012. A view of Coronado Butte may be seen near the Buggeln picnic area. Walk the road to the east from the picnic area parking lot until you come to the rim of the canyon. Buggeln picnic area is located approximately 15 miles (24 km) east of Grand Canyon Village, along Desert View Drive on the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park. NPS photo by W.
