Description
English: Gowri Habba In the Gowri Baagna there is a small beauty items packet, as per protocol it contains a small mirror, comb, eye liner, little pots of turmeric and vermilion, and ancient earrings called bichcholay, made of glass and wrapped around dried rolled up leaf. An identical packet may be included for the receiver's unmarried daughters (kanya). The Kanya packet can contain, in addition to this, modern decorative earrings, hair ornaments like ribbons and decorative rubber bands, bangles, bracelets or necklaces that the child would actually wear.
