Description
English: World War I-era photograph shows Pennsylvania Governor-elect William Cameron Sproul and his son Jack leading the Union League in the Peace Parade on November 11, 1918. Sproul won the gubernatorial election a mere 6 days prior to Armistice Day. Sproul would serve as Pennsylvania's governor from 1919-1923.
