Summary

Description
English: Golborne Colliery Closed 1989. Grid reference from Owen Ashmore (1982), The Industrial Archaeology of North West England. Visit was to see a compressed air winch in the stock yard and we literally helped ourselves. I'm not sure we were even challenged. Of course some of the current generation of urban explorers make themselves inconspicuous with hi-vis and hard hats.
