Description
English: Simple Variometer for paragliders, hang gliders and balooneers
  • Left is a graphic display of the ascending/descending rate in 1/5 meter per second (i.e. four segments above zero represent an ascending of 0.8 meter per second as shown in this example)
  • On top is the equivalent value as described in numeric form
  • In the middle is the actual hight above sea level in meter and the current time
  • The lowest field is reserved for status icons of the instrument
Deutsch: Einfaches Vario für Gleitschirme, Hängegleiter und Ballonfahrer.
  • Zuoberst wird die Steig-/Sinkrate in m/s (0.8) angezeigt, darunter die aktuelle Höhe über Meer (359) sowie die aktuelle Zeit (14:01).
  • Im untersten Feld werden Stati des Geräts angezeigt wie akustische Steigmeldung, Sinkwarnung etc.
  • Auf der linken Seite des Geräts wird das Steigen/Sinken noch in Form eines Balkens angezeigt.
