Glass slide for Something to Think About a Cecil B. DeMille picture starring Gloria Swanson, depicting Swanson. The slide was shown as a projection in theaters as a trailer for the upcoming movie. Store web page states: "This ORIGINAL, "coming attraction" glass slide was designed and printed to promote the first theatrical release of the 1920, silent/melodrama feature, SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT. [...] Glass Slide; 3 1/4" x 4" [...] The glass slide is ORIGINAL. It is NOT a reproduction [...] It was created to be projected on the movie theatre screen before the film was released, to promote the 'coming attraction'. [...] The glass slide consists of two panes of glass, one with the emulsion, and the second, just clear for protection. The glass panes are secured by black tape around the edges." |
