Summary

Description
English: Gable stone inside the Pandpoort of the Haarlem City Hall. This was one of four lions holding the city shield hanging in a "barren tree" that once adorned the staircase ("bordes") to the main hall. The staircase was rebuilt in 1730 and one of these was placed in the Enschede complex in 1900 (the Wagenpoort), but in 2007 was moved here.
This is an image of rijksmonument number 19255
