Summary

Description

Between 2000 and 2013, Germany’s total electric generating capacity expanded by nearly 100 gigawatts (GW). Additions to wind and solar drove nearly all of this growth, while nuclear, natural gas, and coal-fired capacity declined. www.eia.gov/todayinenergy/detail.php?id=39652
