Translation notes
InfoField
I roughly translated Nazi/German terms into English, as I believe it provides greater intelligibility for the reader. This includes:
  • Generalbezirk - General District
  • Gotengau - Goth District
  • Ostland - Eastland
  • Reich - Empire
  • Reichsgau - Empirical District
  • Reichskommissariat - Empirical Commissariat
  • Siedlungskolonie - Settlement
  • Stützpunkte - support points
I used the English place names as they were generally written at the time (Kiev, Kharkov). Where unsure, I used the modern name. I made an exception for Theoderichhafen, the name which the Germans planned to use for Sevastopol.
