Français : Funérailles du prince Baudouin de Belgique, Bruxelles et Laeken, le 29 janvier 1891. — Le prince Baudouin est mort le 23 janvier 1891 d’une pneumonie. Il n’avait que 21 ans et était pressentit pour succéder à son oncle le roi Léopold II. Les jours précédents sa mort, il avait régulièrement visité sa sœur malade, Henriette. Les funérailles furent célébrées le 29 janvier 1891 en la cathédrale des Saints-Michel-et-Gudule à Bruxelles. Le corps du défunt fut ensuite placé dans la crypte royale située en dessous de l’église royale de Laeken. Après sa mort, ce fut son plus jeune frère, Albert, futur roi Albert Ier, qui devint l’héritier du trône.
