Summary
| Description |
English: Franklin Hall, one of the oldest buildings on the campus of Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. Built in 1926, it was originally known as the "William A. Cluff Teachers Training Building" after trustee William Cluff. Later, it was renamed Franklin Hall in honor of the former name of the city of Kent, Franklin Mills. The building housed the University School until 1956 and later would house various departments, including the College of Business, before being renovated in 2007–08 to serve as home of the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. The inscription on the top still reads "The William A. Cluff Teachers Training Building MDCCCCXXVI" |
