Description
English: This photograph of Frances Euphemia Thompson was taken at the 1979 dedication of the Frances Euphemia Thompson art gallery in the Longwood Building of the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. When MassArt moved to its current campus on Huntington Avenue in 1983 the gallery was not relocated. On September 25, 2018 the President's Gallery was renamed the Francs Euphemia Thompson gallery to honor her legacy as a groundbreaking artist, educator, and writer. This photograph is part of the archival holdings at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design Archive.
