Summary

Description
English: Commemorative tablet noting that the Government House in New York City was built on the site of Fort Amsterdam. It was installed in 1890 by the Holland Society of New York and is now located in the Alexander Hamilton U.S. Custom House.
Note: Year of demolition should be 1790, not 1787. See reference.
