English: Former High Market and Civic Hall, Exeter "One of the best market buildings of its date", according to Cherry & Pevsner. It dates from 1834, The central pedimented entrance is seen in 372462. Led Zeppelin played the civic hall in 1968 just as they were transmogrifying from the Yardbirds. The hall came down two years later. Only the facades remain - modern shops have been built within.
