Summary

Description
English: Former Chalkpits On the spur that leads down the northern escarpment from Keymer Post. The broken nature of the terrain seems to indicate former activity and the nearness to the foot of the hill probably suggests chalkpits. The rolling nature of the ground makes this a popular spot for mountain bikers fed by two bridleways on either side of the spur. Hassocks and Keymer are in the distance whilst the spot of white to the right is Oldlands windmill.
