DescriptionForgednote.jpg	English: An Operation Bernhard forgery of the Bank of England five pound note. This is a picture of a forged Bank of England banknote from between 1942 and 1945. It is used to illustrate and comment on a forgery committed by Nazi Germany. This advances an educational purpose and does not affect the value of the legitimate banknote's copyright, because that note is no longer in circulation.
