Summary

Description
English: A two tube fluorescent light strip in a ceiling. This is one of the most common types of residential light fixtures in the US. It takes two F40T12, 4-foot long, 1.5 in dia. rapid start fluorescent tubes. It has a magnetic ballast and consumes roughly 80 watts. Fixtures of this type are being replaced in new construction with the more efficient T8 fixtures.
