Nederlands: Vlaamse gouwen
Français : Pagi du Marquisat des Flandres. La zone en turquoise correspond aux futurs polders (seulement au Xe siècle). La côte est celle du IXe siècle. Les pagi réunis forment le Marquisat. L'appartenance effective du Bononiensis et du Tarvaniensis n'est pas avérée. Le Maritima est frison occidental. À l'est de l'Escaut commence la Lotharingie. Le Marquisat fait partie de la Francie occidentale.
