Flanders F.4, (No. 422) british monoplane, 1912

A Flanders monoplane undertaking experiments at Farnborough and Brooklands was the first service aircraft with radio in United Kingdom. The aircraft was fitted with a Marconi 6V battery-operated tuned-spark transmitter.
