Bandera apaïsada, de proporcions dos d'alt per tres d'ample, dividida en dues franges horitzontals iguals, blanca la superior i blava la inferior; al cantó del pal dues franges creuades del comtat d'Empúries, formades per sis franges horitzontals, tres grogues i tres vermelles alternades i amb les astes grogues, el conjunt d'alçada de 5/18 i separades dels extrems per 1/9.[1]
English: Flag of Vilajuïga, in Girona province, Spain. Horizontally divided flag, white over blue. On the canton, two crossed flags, each horizontally divided yellow-red-yellow-red-yellow-red, with yellow masts, the whole as high as 5/18 [of the flag's height] and separated from top and hoist by 1/9 [of the flag's height]. Español: Bandera de Vilajuïga, Gerona, España. Bandera de proporciones 2:3, dividida en dos franjas horizontales iguales, blanca la superior y azul la inferior; al lado del palo dos banderas cruzadas del condado de Empúries, formadas por seis franjas horizontales, tres amarillas y tres rojas alternadas y con las astas amarillas, el conjunto de altura de 5/18 y separadas de los extremos por 1/9.[2]
