English: Arms of Fenner (alias Venner) of Roseash, Devon: Azure, on a cross argent between four eagles displayed or a cross formée sable (Vivian, Lt.Col. J.L., (Ed.) The Visitations of the County of Devon: Comprising the Heralds' Visitations of 1531, 1564 & 1620, Exeter, 1895, p.341). These are similar to the arms of Venner displayed in Hudscott House, Chittlehampton (See also Vivian, p.746). Rev. John Fenner was Rector of Roseash 1584-1618 (per list in church)
