Deutsch: Nordwestansicht der Christuskirche am evangelischen Friedhof Matzleinsdorf im 10. Wiener Gemeindebezirk Favoriten.
Sie wurde als Friedhofskapelle von 1858 bis 1860 in byzantinischer Stilart als Ziegelrohbau mit Kuppel über dem Grundriss eines griechischen Kreuzes nach Plänen von Theophil von Hansen errichtet. Im Jahr 1899 wurde sie eine Predigtstation und zu diesem Zwecke baute man eine Empore, Kanzel und Altar ein. Nachdem im Jahr 1924 die Predigtstation zu der selbständigen Pfarrgemeinde Wien-Favoriten erhoben wurde, hat die Kirche jetzt den Status einer Pfarrkirche. |
