English: A failed NTC thermistor that worked as an inrush current limiter in a SMPS. The most likely cause of failure (thermal runaway) is overload caused by engineering failure (the part was constantly subjected to a higher load than what it was designed for).

Slovenčina: Zničený NTC termistor, ktorý plnil funkciu obmedzovača štartovacieho prúdu v spínanom zdroji. Najpravdepodobnejší dôvod zlyhania (prehriatia) bolo preťaženie spôsobené konštrukčnou chybou (súčiastka bola poddimenzovaná voči očakávanému výkonu zdroja). |
