Description
English: FBI memo from 22 May 1968 suggests the creation of a letter to media. The letter would insinuate that leaders within the Poor People's Campaign, organized by the recently assassinated Martin Luther King, Jr., resented encroachments from the American Society of Friends, a Quaker group. The goal was to sow discord between the white Quakers and the marchers.
