Summary
| Description | A U.S. Navy Grumman F-14A-90-GR Tomcat (BuNo 159868) of Fighter Squadron 114 (VF-114) "Aardvarks" in flight. VF-114 received the first Tomcat on 15 December 1975. The transition took a little more than a year and the squadron deployed with its F-14s for the first time with Carrier Air Wing 11 (CVW-11) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk to the Western Pacific from 25 October 1977 to 15 May 1978. |
