Description
English: Estación Central ("central station") of Buenos Aires, placed on Paseo de Julio (currrent L.N. Alem) avenue between La Piedad (B. Mitre) and Cangallo.

At right, the Rio de la Plata with the passengers dock and customs entrance (front) and the Catalinas dock (far at background).

The station had been built in 1867 and destroyed by fire on February 14, 1897.
