Español: Escudo del municipio de Puerto Escondido (Córdoba).
"El escudo de Puerto Escondido consta de tres divisiones: La primera tienes dos palmeras erguidas en un fondo rojo estas representan la riqueza de la flora y la fauna de nuestra región. La segunda división hace referencia a la riqueza de los paisajes conformados por cerros lomas y montañas que se erigen a los alrededores de nuestro municipio haciéndolo rico en biodiversidad lo que conlleva a una gran variedad de hermosos paisajes que vale la pena admirar. La tercera división hace referencia a nuestra Isla Tortuguilla, La Isla Tortuguilla se encuentra localizada en el Mar Caribe, hacia el Occidente de la cabecera municipal de Puerto Escondido a unos 15 Kilómetros aproximadamente. La superficie de la Isla es de 14 Hectáreas. El lugar es denominado “Isla Tortuguilla”, debido a que fue sitio de reproducción de tortugas en otros tiempos es un lugar de bellos paisajes y hermosas playas." Referencias: [1] |
