Español: Se encuentra en primer término, un sabino con parte de sus raíces sobresaliendo de la superficie del terreno, e inmediatamente debajo de árbol está inscrito el año de la fundación del municipio, 1542. Al fondo se aprecia la representación del cerro Grande bajo un cielo azul con múltiples nubes y una estrella dorada de cinco de picos, arriba de la cual está plasmado el año en que nació Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, 1753. En la parte superior está escrita la leyenda "Cuna de Hidalgo San Francisco de Penxamo". Alrededor del escudo aparecen las locuciones latinas Nobilis, Fidilis, Fortis, que son considerados los atributos de sus pobladores. |
