English: Erecting the water pipeline across the Harlem River at Highbridge, Bronx, ca. 1861. The contract for this job was signed by Samuel Sneden & Co. of Greenpoint, Brooklyn, in 1860, and the job was completed by that company's successor, the Continental Iron Works, from 1861.
