Summary

Description Equisetum x ferrissii, now recognized as a hybrid (E. hyemale × laevigatum), it could also be described as a hybrid of the scouringrush and smooth horsetails. Collected by Vohnette, J. H. on June 14, 1890 from the Lake Michigan shore, north of Life Saving Station []Coast Guard Station Sturgeon Bay] on Sturgeon Bay Canal.
