Description
English: The Embassy of Angola is the diplomatic mission of Angola to the United States. The embassy is located at 2100 (pictured) and 2108 16th Street NW in Washington, D.C. The building located at 2100 16th Street NW was constructed in 1911 and designed by George Oakley Totten Jr.. Notable past owners of the residence include Charles Evans Hughes (while serving on the Supreme Court and during the 1916 U.S. presidential election) and the Bulgarian embassy. The building is a contributing property to the Sixteenth Street Historic District.
