Author NBC Television. In the 1950s and 1960s it was not uncommon for television networks, studios and television program sponsors to use publicity or advertising agencies to distribute publicity materials. In this case, the Bureau of Industrial Service, which was a division of advertising agency Young & Rubicam, was used to distribute the press materials.
