Description
English: A streetcar of the first electrified tram in Bremen, Germany, in 1890 in front of the entrance gate to the Nordwestdeutsche Gewerbe- und Industrieausstellung (“Northwestern craft and industry exhibition”). The tram, operated by the Bremer Pferdebahn AG (“Bremen horsecar Company”) in cooperation with the Thomson-Houston Electric Company from Boston, was used on the route between Bürgerpark, Hauptbahnhof and Börse.
Deutsch: Eine Wagen der ersten versuchsweise elektrifizierten Straßenbahnstrecke in Bremen im Jahre 1890 vor dem Eingangstor der Nordwestdeutschen Gewerbe- und Industrieausstellung. Die Bahn, die von der Bremer Perfebahn AG in Zusammenarbeit mit der Thomson-Houston Electric Company aus Boston betrieben wurde, verkehrte auf der Strecke zwischen dem Ausstellungsgelände am Bürgerparkt, dem Hauptbahnhof und der Börse im Stadtzentrum.
