Summary

Description
English: The Eccentric Club, located at 109 North Main Street at the the corner of Spring Street in Gloversville, New York, was founded in 1882. The name of the social club is said to have been suggested by an early member, based on Jules Verne's Around the World in 80 Days. (Source: [1]) The building, completed in 1908, was designed by F. L. Comstock in the Renaissance Revival style, and is located in the Downtown Gloversville Historic District. (Source: [2])
